Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Video Editor to join our Creative Team, reporting to Sharma Brand’s Creative Director. This is a full-time position that is US or Canada based. This role is either hybrid for NYCers or fully-remote eligible.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Design Creation for static and video ads:
- Creating ads across ad sizes and specs
- Editing:
- Ability to edit photos and videos proficiently
- Conceptualization:
- Collaborate with Clients and creative teams to conceptualize and develop design ideas that align with KPIs and brand identity
- Creativity:
- Stay updated on design and ad trends and continuously innovate, bringing fresh and engaging ideas to the table
- Brainstorm new creative ideas for clients campaigns
- Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard graphic and video design software (Figma, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects) to create, edit, and manipulate design assets.
- Communication & Collaboration: Must be able to communicate and collaborate with team members on a constant basis (Slack, iMessage, etc.) and develop design ideas that align with KPIs and brand identity/guidelines
- Project Management & Organization: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Feedback Incorporation: Be open to constructive feedback, and make necessary adjustments to designs based on input from team members and clients
- File Management: Maintain organized design files and assets for easy access and client transfer
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Figma is preferred as well
- Must have animation and graphic design experience, agency or eCommerce brand experience is encouraged
- Must be able to create fast paced short-form video and static ads (for mobile)
- Ability to edit and color-grade assets
